LEARNING TRIPS (Field Trip)!
Elk Hills School District believes that students who have a wide range of first-hand learning experiences make stronger connections to subjects being studied. Therefore to best support the learning of our students in reading, language arts, mathematics, social science, science, visual & performing arts and physical education we provide many learning trips (field trips) throughout the year, which directly connects to our yearlong theme and state content standards being taught.
Bus Schedule Changes: Please Notes: When the school has extended learning trips that are longer than the school day, the school will implement modified schedule. (see schedule below)

We will be adding information on future learning trips as they are planned. Please make sure that you fill out & return the Parent Permission Slip by the Due Date!! Students will not be allowed to attend the trip if the permission slip is not received by the deadline. Students will be provided with a flyer and Parent Permission slip for each learning trip. Of course, as needed, parents can download an additional flyer and/or permission slip for a leaning trip below or pick up another one at the school office.

The classes will receive a guided tour of the museum and have an hands-on session in the Paleo Lab! Lunch & Recess will be at the Riverwalk Park on Stockdale Hwy.
