If you have a student who attends Elk Hills and you haven't downloaded our Parent Square app, you could be missing out on updates, photos, fliers, and events! While we do our best to post to our socials, some things are only posted to Parent Square. It's also an easy way to communicate with school staff, see photos of your students while at school, and teachers use it to communicate directly with the parents whose children are in their class. Sign up today! It's free!

We recently saw two days straight of over 98% attendance! That is the first time in a few months that we saw attendance rates that high! We know there are some illnesses going around right now, but we want to remind everyone that students are only required to stay home if they've had a fever in the last 24 hours, are having stomach issues that require them to be close to the toilet, or are so lethargic they are having a hard time conducting normal daily tasks. Please remind your students to wash their hands regularly and cover their mouths when coughing and sneezing, this can help stop the spread of illnesses and allow for less attendance issues. We are getting close to the end of the school year and it is really important for students to be in school as much as possible as they are beginning to learn the foundational skills they will need to be successful as they level up next year. As always, if there is something we can help you with getting your child to school on a regular basis, please do not hesitate to reach out to us!
