Happy Summer Elk Hills Families!
We are happy to see so many of your students at our Summer Camp program this year! We will also be hosting KCSOS for a Saturday STEAM Camp on Saturday, June 14. If you would like your student to attend, please call the school office today. For Summer Camp students, a flier and registration form will be sent home today with them. We will be providing transportation, lunch, and after camp care if needed. Please note that your student does not need to be enrolled in Summer Camp to attend the STEAM Camp. Due to some changes we have adjusted the times for bus stops. Parents please arrive a few minutes early for AM/PM routes. When the bus driver has to wait for parents it makes all stops late. Thank you!

Summer Camp Bus Schedule
Thursday, May 29, is the last day of school! We will have an early dismissal at 1:30pm. No after school care will be available. Summer Camp begins Monday, June 2! Happy Summer!
Graduation Day is here! Our kindergarten students graduate at 9:00am and our 8th graders graduate at 6:00pm on Thursday, May 29 . We hope you can join us for the festivities. Receptions will follow both graduations in the cafeteria.

There is no school Monday, May 26, 2025 in observance of Memorial Day. School will resume Tuesday, May 27, 2025 for the last week of the 24-25 school year. Our goal is to have 100% attendance schoolwide the last week of school!
Don't forget! Our Annual Spring Festival & Classroom Showcase is tonight, Thursday, May 22 from 5PM-7PM! Admission is free to enjoy the DJ, resource fair, classroom student projects, playground, and bounce houses! There will be several things available for purchase: Opportunity Drawing Basket tickets ($1.00, cash only), Scholastic Book Fair, Mexican Food from Del Mar Mexican Food, Water/Soda ($1.50, cash only), Snow Cones and other goodies from Tony's Snowtime Snowie Bus, and coffee from The Rollin Bean. On Friday, May 23, we will be hosting the End of Year/2nd Semester Awards Assembly. Students who have earned Honor Roll, Principal's List, Perfect Attendance, and/or ELK of the Month will be recognized. A few athletic awards for the year will also be highlighted for students in grades 6th-8th. Please see the post for times!
Elk Hills Families, we need your help! We need volunteers for our bounce houses during the Spring Festival! We need four people 17+ to help man the bounce houses. All property belonging to Elk Hills School District must be reutned by Monday, May 19, 2025. This includes Chromebooks, chargers, cases, and gray Elk Hills field trip shirts provided to TK-2 solely for field trip purposes, textbooks, and any other property of Elk Hills School District. If your child is on Independent Studies all technology must be returned by the last day of school. Any Chromebooks not returned will be disabled until they are returned to campus.
