Dear Students, Parents, & Chaperones,
We will be heading to Knott's Berry Farm on Monday, June 30. The attached flier has important information regarding the trip. Please pay close attention to leave time and the cashless park items. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the school office. Students who are eligible to attend will receive a ticket for park admittance, a voucher for a meal in the park, and an Elk Hills Summer Camp t-shirt! Chaperones who paid for their tickets will receive a ticket and meal voucher. We have chartered two busses for our travels. We look forward to a long but fun day! We have over 80 students, parents, and staff attending!
Campus is closed today in observance of Juneteenth, we will resume summer camp tomorrow, June 20.

Happy Summer Elk Hills Families!
We are happy to see so many of your students at our Summer Camp program this year! We will also be hosting KCSOS for a Saturday STEAM Camp on Saturday, June 14. If you would like your student to attend, please call the school office today. For Summer Camp students, a flier and registration form will be sent home today with them. We will be providing transportation, lunch, and after camp care if needed. Please note that your student does not need to be enrolled in Summer Camp to attend the STEAM Camp. Now enrolling for 2025-26 school year!! We have openings in grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, & 8. Tell all your friends and family!
Due to some changes we have adjusted the times for bus stops. Parents please arrive a few minutes early for AM/PM routes. When the bus driver has to wait for parents it makes all stops late. Thank you!
Just a reminder that the Elk Hills Summer Camp begins tomorrow, June 2. We look forward to seeing your students!
It is not too late to sign up for summer camp! Call the school office today to register. *Students must not miss more than two days in order to be eligible for the Knott's Berry Farm trip on 6/30!
Summer Camp Bus Schedule
Thursday, May 29, is the last day of school! We will have an early dismissal at 1:30pm. No after school care will be available. Summer Camp begins Monday, June 2! Happy Summer!
Graduation Day is here! Our kindergarten students graduate at 9:00am and our 8th graders graduate at 6:00pm on Thursday, May 29 . We hope you can join us for the festivities. Receptions will follow both graduations in the cafeteria.

Elk Hills will have our Annual Water Day tomorrow, May 28, during the school day. Please have your student bring their appropriate swim attire! See the post for more details! Thank you to our PTO for this special day!
There is no school Monday, May 26, 2025 in observance of Memorial Day. School will resume Tuesday, May 27, 2025 for the last week of the 24-25 school year. Our goal is to have 100% attendance schoolwide the last week of school!
Don't forget! Our Annual Spring Festival & Classroom Showcase is tonight, Thursday, May 22 from 5PM-7PM! Admission is free to enjoy the DJ, resource fair, classroom student projects, playground, and bounce houses! There will be several things available for purchase: Opportunity Drawing Basket tickets ($1.00, cash only), Scholastic Book Fair, Mexican Food from Del Mar Mexican Food, Water/Soda ($1.50, cash only), Snow Cones and other goodies from Tony's Snowtime Snowie Bus, and coffee from The Rollin Bean. On Friday, May 23, we will be hosting the End of Year/2nd Semester Awards Assembly. Students who have earned Honor Roll, Principal's List, Perfect Attendance, and/or ELK of the Month will be recognized. A few athletic awards for the year will also be highlighted for students in grades 6th-8th. Please see the post for times!
Elk Hills Families, we need your help! We need volunteers for our bounce houses during the Spring Festival! We need four people 17+ to help man the bounce houses.
