The Elk Hills School District annual Schoolwide Easter Egg Hunt is coming up on Friday, March 22nd and we need your help! We need candy and plastic egg donations! All candy must be sealed and individually wrapped. Please turn candy into the office by Monday, March 18th. We thank you and appreciate your contribution!

At Elk Hills School District we do many things to promote good attendance, and while we do recognize that perfect attendance is not always possible, it is still important to instill healthy habits surrounding attending school on a regular basis. We have implemented several incentives over the past few years to help engage our students and reward them for attending school regularly and when we returned from Winter Break we started a new incentive: 100% for 20! For every 20 days a classroom has 100% attendance they will receive a pizza party! The days do not have to be consecutive and students who are on Independent Study are considered as present.
First grade has already reached their 20 days and is getting their pizza party this Friday afternoon! Congratulations to our first grade class for being the first class to reap the benefits of this new incentive!
There's still plenty of time for the rest of the classes to reach their 20 day goal!

Students in our TK and Kindergarten class were happy spend their recess on Friday helping Mr. Murray fill in gopher holes to keep our field safe! Mr. Murray shoveled in the dirt and the kids stomped it flat. Thank you to Mr. Murray and our TK/Kinders for all your hard work!

There is no school on Monday, February 19th, 2024 in observance of Presidents Day. Presidents Day is observed in recognition of the first president of the United States of America, George Washington. School will resume Tuesday, February 20th, 2024.
