Your Thanksgiving dinner box will include a turkey and plenty of sides to complete your Thanksgiving meal. Pickup will be Thursday, November 16th, from 2:00p.m.-4:00p.m. One sign-up per household. Don't forget! Tomorrow is our annual Trunk or Treat! Set up begins at 8:30AM in the Elk Hills School District parking lot. The Trunk or Treat starts promptly at 9:30AM. Please be sure to stop at the entrance to the parking lot to be checked in and given a trunk number so the students can vote for you.
We will also be having several fundraisers tomorrow starting at 10:45AM: Student Council will be selling popcorn for $2.00/bag and $1.00 for an extra topping, 2nd and 3rd grades will be selling chips with nacho cheese for $3.00, and 8th grade will be selling root beer and orange cream floats for $2.00! (Cash only!)



Don't forget! Elk Hills School District's annual Trunk or Treat is Tuesday, October 31st! Please bring enough candy for 200 children. We will NOT hold our After School program that day, so please be sure to make arrangements for your students if necessary. Learning Trip for 4th & 5th Grades! On Monday, October 23, the 4th & 5th grade students at Elk Hills will be visiting the CSUB campus! Please see the flier for more information!


The Elk Hills PTO will be hosting a coin drive in each classroom during Red Ribbon Week. The class who donates the most change will receive a pizza party! All proceeds will go to The Salvation Army which has been integral in changing the lives of many people who have suffered from addiction, free of charge. The coin drive begins Monday, October 23rd and ends Friday, October 27th. Bring your change to make a change! #RedRibbonWeek


Red Ribbon Week starts Monday and runs through Halloween, in honor of this week we will be having dress-up days with an activity at lunch recess each day of the week.
Monday: Don't let drugs sneak up on you- wear your favorite sneakers. Activity: Scavenger Hunt.
Tuesday: Black out drugs & bullying- wear all black. Activity: Red Ribbon Pledge. Wednesday: Being drug free is no sweat- wear workout clothes. Activity: hand print banner.
Thursday: Team up against drugs- wear your sports team attire. Activity: tug-o-war. Friday: Rally against drugs and bullying- wear red or our school colors (dark green/gold/black). Activity: face painting

Join us for our yearly Halloween Trunk or Treat on October 31st at 9:00AM! Trunk set up begins at 8:30AM. We will have our costume parade, followed by the Trunk or Treat in the parking lot, then the costume contest and Literacy Team Pumpkin Auction on the field.
