On Friday, January 19th @ 9 a.m. the Small Schools Basketball League will play in a tournament at Maricopa Unified School District. This is a separate event from the Power League Basketball game that will take place on Thursday, January 18th @ Elk Hills School District.

Now that winter is here, it is time to review the Elk Hills School District fog delay procedures. There are times when Elk Hills School will delay opening two hours because of the dense fog conditions. Please be advised that school supervision will also be delayed; supervision at the school will begin at 9:30 a.m. There will be no before school care during fog delays. See the attached.

Don't forget! Community Bingo Night is tomorrow- Thursday, January 11th, 2024 from 5-6:30PM in the cafeteria! (Due to conflicting scheduled use of the cafeteria this month's Bingo night is being held on the second Thursday of the month) I can't want to spend the evening with you!

The first semester awards assembly will be held this Friday, January 12. Students who earned awards for honor roll, principal's list, Elk of the Month, congressional awards, and attendance awards will be recognized. Notices were sent home today with report cards!

The Elk Hills PTO will be hosting a fundraiser beginning Monday, December 18 through Wednesday, December 20. For $1.00, students may purchase a "Yummy Treat for Someone Sweet." Each packet includes a pack of hot chocolate, candy cane, and message from a friend. Items will be delivered at the end of day on Wednesday, December 20. Please see the flier in your students' backpack along with the message slips!
Congratulations to our top seller for the first annual Festival of Trees fundraiser. We raised over $1000! All proceeds will help fund the end of year field trips. Thank you to everyone for their support. Great job Harlee!
Attention! Mr. Rensel is having a fundraiser tomorrow after lunch (12/15/) to raise money for the 4th and 5th grade trip at the end of the school year! He and his class will be selling sour pickles after lunch tomorrow for $2.00 each. Don't miss out - bring your money!
Congratulations to Andrew for winning the latest attendance drawing! At the end of each month, students who have 97% attendance for that month are entered into a drawing. Mrs. Cassandra hand picks the winner's favorite items for their award. Great job Andrew!
